March For Men is a Promising Third at Chester

After a debut at Hamilton where things didn’t go according to plan, our colt March For Men was pitched against a small but useful field at Chester.  Two winners and a stable companion, the filly She Can Boogie, who was a very close second last time out promised to make life difficult for him.  The aforementioned filly duly won but March For Men showed plenty of promise for the future in finished in third and ahead of the odds-on favourite.  We were pleased with his run and are looking forward to his next outing.

Our Partnership Horses Start the Season Showing Promise

Great Charm and Adlington have started their 2011 seasons and we’re looking forward to entering the winner’s enclosure with them.  Adlington ran a very promising race at Haydock Park, whilst Great Charm is waiting in the wings for the rain to appear!  The trainers are happy with them both.

Gritstone Wins Again, This Time Under Champion Jockey Paul Hanagan!

gritstone-and-paul-hanaganGritstone ‘completed the double’ for us at Wolverhampton in October, winning nicely and giving us every confidence that he can win again for us.  He’ll certainly be a smashing horse to enjoy the 2012 Flat Season with.

Not only do we have Gritstone flying the flag for us this year, but we now have two other very nice horses.  Waseem Faris is a 3-y-o gelding by Exceed And Excel and trained by Mick Channon whilst Fireback is a useful gelding trained by the rookie Daniel Kubler.  You can bet the Partnership is thrilled to have such lovely horses with excellent chances of winning races this year.

Our Latest Recruit Shows "True Grit"

gritstone-wins-under-apprentice-lee-toplissThe Partnership’s new horse, Gritstone, won for us at the second time of asking at Wolverhampton on the 7th October.  It was the fastest time on the card and we’re hoping for a good all-weather season with him now.  Apprentice Lee Topliss had him in an ideal position throughout the race and we had an exciting final two furlongs as he began to dominate and draw clear of his rivals.
